1. Breaking changes
There are no breaking changes in this update.
2. Integration with the Victorian Health Incident Management System
Ideagen Healthcare Guardian now integrates directly with the Victorian Health Incident Management System (VHIMS), streamlining incident reporting for healthcare organizations in Victoria, Australia. Victorian healthcare providers can now create and submit clinical incidents, staff incidents, visitor incidents, and hazard reports with VHIMS-compliant questionnaires built directly into Ideagen Healthcare Guardian. All incident data is automatically formatted and submitted to the state-wide VHIMS system, ensuring compliance with Victorian government reporting standards.
3. Improvements
3.1 Improved error handling for AI prompts
- Messaging when service unavailable.
- Error message when prompt field is empty.
- Cancel Edit message shown before discarding changes.
3.2 Ability to clone a form
From V25.2, administrators can enable the ability to clone a form at the point of submission. This allows for multiple related forms to be submitted without lengthy re-entry of data, eg, where a single incident impacts a number of individuals, and separate submissions are required for each, as per VHIMS.
Please see Adding the ability to clone a form – Ideagen Healthcare Guardian | Help | Ideagen Luminate for help with enabling this feature.
3.3 Questionnaire 'when to show' logic
Improved handling of when to show logic, utilising directed graphs to detect loops.
3.4 Ability to select the Filter Question that drives a sub-level list
A new Filter Question setting on Lists allows the administrator to select the top level list driving a lower level list. This may be used in a scenario where a single top level list selection opens up more than one second level list, eg:
- List level 1: Level of Harm (severe, moderate, minor...)
- First List level 2: Level of Harm (permanent, temporary)
- Second List level 2: Level of Care (no care, first aid, assessment, medical treatment, inpatient hospital admission...)
Please see Using the Filter Question setting – Ideagen Healthcare Guardian | Help | Ideagen Luminate for detailed guidance on using this feature.
4. Fixes
4.1 Triggers for multi-select lists

4.2 Resolve erroneous multi-line display in Excel exports

4.3 Incorrect datetime in live connect visualisation

4.4 Erroneous prefixes on button labels
Resolved an intermittent issue with general prefix being incorrectly attached to button labels.
4.5 Transform to Group where value has a comma
Resolved an issue where permissions are not applied when a Transform to Group value contains a comma.
4.6 Sticky Search button
Resolved an issue where search results do not display until the second click of a search button.
