What's new
Mazlan search and intelligence agent
Mazlan AI has arrived in Ideagen Healthcare Guardian. Mazlan is a major step in the development of Ideagen Healthcare Guardian. You can now ask questions about your Live Connects, eg Risk and Incident data, in plain language. Mazlan works out which data it needs, runs the query and presents the answer.
You can filter your results, see them as a chart, table or list, and click through to the record in Ideagen Healthcare Guardian. Mazlan keeps context within your session, so you can ask follow-up questions.
Guardrails keep your data under your control. Administrators choose which Live Connects Mazlan can use. Questions and sections marked “Do not send to AI” are never exposed. Mazlan only shows you data you already have permission to see.
Language and regional settings
Multi-language support. Sites can now appear in the user’s language. Users can set their own language in their Employee profile. Dutch, German and Spanish are now supported.
Decimal separators. Decimal separators now follow the user’s locale. For example, German users see a comma, whereas English users see a period.
User timezone. Users own timezones are now respected.
US English culture setting. Ideagen Healthcare Guardian can now use US English spelling and US date format.
A user's timezone, culture and language preferences are taken from Mazlan Home, where available.
Lock questionnaire for editing
A questionnaire is now locked while being edited, and released when complete. Admins can also release a lock, if necessary.
Security improvements
As part of our commitment to ongoing security improvements, file upload checks have been strengthened.
Fixes
A number of bug fixes, including:
- Resolved an issue where date and time values were an hour out during British Summer Time. This affected Incident Log Date, Date of Death, Progress Notes, audit timestamps and DateTime answers.
- Resolved remaining LFPSE submission errors caused by property names that changed from “Person” to “People” in taxonomy V6.
- Resolved a range of notification issues. This included overdue notifications sent for records that were not overdue, and notifications not sent on entering a workflow stage.
- Resolved an issue where avatar image upload did not work in the Avatar selector.
- Resolved an issue where Performance Modellers with the right permissions could not access Question Manager.
- Resolved an issue where Print to PDF produced black lines down the sides of reports.
- Resolved an issue where visualisations looked different in Designer and live views.
- Resolved an issue where drop-down fields on Incident and Feedback cases stopped responding after editing a linked learning from within the case.
- Resolved a server error when viewing a user’s profile from Admin > People > Employees.
- Resolved an issue where the Send for approval button did nothing on LFPSE Incident records when the required-questions rule was enabled.
