Configuring a Scheduled Import for Object Property Updates (Excel)
Who is this article for?
Users responsible for managing bulk updating object properties.
Performance Modeller or Model Administrator permissions.
No specific version of the application is required. This is 'Base functionality'
1. Access Healthcare Guardian Administrator
- From any page click the Send to Menu icon and select Open Admin
- Open Data Sources
Select Scheduled Import
2. Identifying and Locating the Source File
Click Browse
- Choose the excel file to use as the import source (or click + to add your file for External Data Library)
- Click OK
- Select the worksheet that containing the source data to import. (Please note if there are multiple worksheets, Healthcare Guardian will require a scheduled import configured for each worksheet)
- Click Preview and Configure
2. Configure the Scheduled Import
- Click 'Row' to select all columns or Hold Ctrl and select columns individually
- All selected columns will display with an Orange Border
- Click Object
- Click Generate mappings now
- Click Save & Import

All object property available in your model, will be displayed in the left-hand column. Below are just the standards field that are available in all applications; but customers may have unique fields in addition to these:

| Requester | Set / update the employee's name who is the requestor of the object |
| Object Description | Set / update the object description (1000 characters) |
| Object Due Date | Set / update the object due date |
| Object End Date | Set / update the object end date |
| Object Permissions - Author | Set / update the author permissions for the object |
| Object Permissions - Edit | Set / update the edit permissions for the object |
| Object Permissions - Value Entry | Set / update the value entry permissions for the object |
| Object Permissions - View | Set / update the view permissions for the object - everyone can view (default) |
| Object Start Date | Set / Update the object start date |
| Org Unit | Set / update the Org Unit for the object (if applicable) |
| Owner | Set / update the employee's name who is the owner of the object |
| Priority | Set / update the priority of the object (if applicable) |
| Stage | Set / update the stage of the object (if applicable) |
3. Creating / Deleting Associations (Relationships)
- Click Relationship
- Define the Relationship Type
- Define the Object Name
