Understanding Question Answer Types

Users responsible for managing Questionnaire template pages.
Performance Modeller or Model Administrator permissions and Ideagen Healthcare Guardian v22+ access are required.
Performance Modellers and Model Administrators can edit questionnaire templates pages, if they are member of the Question Type permission group. Below is a list of the difference t answer types that can be attributed to a question in a questionnaire and a briefing explanation of the output of each one.
Please be aware that you may not have all answer types listed below unless you are on the latest Ideagen Healthcare Guardian Release.

| One line of text | Allows users to enter a free text answer |

| Integer | Allows users to select a whole number |
| Number with decimal | Allows users user to select a number with decimal places included |
| Risk likelihood | (System) Allows users to select a risk likelihood score in accordance with their risk matrix configuration |
| Risk impact | (System) Allows users to select a risk impact score in accordance with their risk matrix configuration |
| Risk grade | (System) Allows the calculation of the risk grade based on likelihood x impact |
| Risk Rating | (System) Allows the calculation of the risk score based on likelihood x impact |
| Date | Allows users to select a date (dd/mm/yyyy) |
| Date of Birth | Allows users to select a date (dd/mm/yyyy) |
| Time | Allows users to select a time (24 hours) |
| Date and Time | Allows users to select a date and time |
| Month and Year | Allows users to select a month (mmmm) and year (yyyy) |
| Email Address | Allow users to enter an email address |
| Phone Number | Allows users to enter a phone number include country codes. |
| Employee | Allows users to select ONE employee from the employee picker |
| Employee From Group | Allows users to select ONE employee from a group of employees |
| Employee in group from source question | Allows users to select ONE employee from a group of employees determined by the answer to a source question |
| One or more employees | Allows users to select MULTIIPL employees from the employee picker |
| Organisational Unit | Allows users to select an Organisational Unit as determined by their Org Structure (as shown in Ideagen Healthcare Guardian Administrator) |
| Numeric ID | Allow users to enter a numeric ID (No letters) |
| NHS Number | Allows users to populate a 9-digit number with no spaces, such as 123456789 |
| Hospital Number | Allows uses to populate numbers and (optionally letters), such as G1234567 |
| Object Comments | Add comments to the questionnaire and stores these on the associated object (if applicable) as a non-periodic comment - i.e. object comment |
| Comments | Add comments to the questionnaire instance and DOES NOT store these on the associated object |
| Affects (Part Whole) | Creates a data-driven association between the object in focus and its parent [object] |
| Affect (Other) | Creates an impact association between the object in focus and its parent [object] |
| Needed (Part Whole) | Creates a data-driven between the object in focus and its child [object] |
| Needed (Other) | Creates an impact relationship between the object in focus and its parent [object] |
| Bi-directional (Other) | Creates two-way association between the object instance in focus and its child [object] and that between the child [object] and the object instance. |
| Object Name | Displays the object name that the questionnaire instance is associated with (audits only) |
| Object Org Unit | Displays the Object Org Unit name that the questionnaire instance is associated with (audits only) |
| Repeating Question Group Title | Repeats the title of question group where sub questions are used |
| Grouper (hidden) | Create a hidden question |
| Count | Count how many repeats of a specific section (Count must be a different section to its donor sections) |
| Sum | Cout to the total value of integer question in a repeating section (Sum must be a different section to its donor questions) |
| Calendar Days Between Dates | Returns the number of calendar dates between two date answer type questions |
| Working Dates Between Dates | Returns the number of working dates between two date answer type questions |
