Adding record links
Who is this article for?Users responsible for managing Questionnaire template pages.
Performance Modeller or Model Administrator permissions and Ideagen Healthcare Guardian v24+ access are required.
Performance Modellers and Model Administrators can edit questionnaire templates pages, if they are member of the Question Type permission group.
This article shows you how to add and populate record links in a questionnaire.
1. Adding Record Links section
To add a Records Link section:
- Access Question Manager.
- Select the questionnaire type.
- Open a questionnaire.
- Select Question Builder.
- Click New Section.
- Re-order the position of the new section by dragging and dropping to section in the questionnaire template.
2. Populating Record Links section
To populate the section:
- Add a question to the section that describes the type of record being linked to.
In this example, we will link to an LFPSE Incident. - Give the question a name.
- Set the Answer Type to Bi-directional other.
This will ensure that the records will be linked in both directions. - Select the Object Type being used for the type of link you wish to create.
- If necessary, update the Reporting Alias.
- Repeat steps for each type of record you want to allow links to.
- Click Save & Overwrite.
