Updates in Risk
Enterprise Users will be able to view and interact with pages. Performance Managers/Modellers can edit pages and objects, and Model Administrators have full permissions.
You will still need to check your personal permissions to access this area with your site Administrator.
Accessing the Site
To access Ideagen Healthcare Guardian, please enter your Ideagen Healthcare Guardian URL into any web browser, and enter your username and password, as provided by your Model Administrator. Unless your organisation is using Ideagen Healthcare Guardian Single Sign-on.
Navigation
To navigate the Risk Management portal, click ‘Risk Management’ from the Ideagen Healthcare Guardian Central landing page.
Updates
The user can select a Risk Register from the dropdown. Then, using the Data Entry button, the user can view and edit (if permissions allow) the Risk Consequence and Risk Likelihood scores for all Risks associated with the Risk Register.
Clicking on ‘Open Details’ will allow the user to view all information about the Risk, including any commentary that may have been provided, any Tasks / Activities and the Risk trend.
Risk Detailed Update
This page allows the user to select a Risk Register and, in turn, an individual Risk from the dropdown boxes or the Sunburst visualisation (which shows the current performance of all Risks associated with the chosen Risk Register). Once a Risk is selected, details about the Risk and impacted objects (if any) will be displayed.
The Current Assessment section allows users to update the current Risk Likelihood, Risk Consequence scores and narrative.
Any users contributing to the narrative can be called into a Microsoft Teams meeting from the Ideagen Healthcare Guardian application to discuss the Risk and their narratives.
The user can also view the last reported information for the Risk Likelihood, Probability and Rating measures and on the Risk Matrix. The Risk trends will show the movement of the Risk Rating score for the last year.
The Summary of Controls and Assurances free-text area is also shown so these can be viewed and amended if required. In addition, the option to add/update comments to the Risks about what else could be done to provide control and assurance is shown.
As well as recording control and assurance information, users can add a Risk Mitigation action by clicking the ‘Add Activity‘ button. (see section 4.3) as well as update the Percentage Complete, Action Due Date, Assessment, and add Comments for each Task / Activity.
Tasks / Activities can be interactively filtered by Owner, Stage, Priority and Org Unit.
