[Video] Scorecards
1) To add a scorecard visualisation, click on the 'new visualisation' icon on the left-hand corner of the screen.
2) Select the scorecard, which is the second item from the left on the top row of the options.
3) You can then build your query the way you would with any other visualisation. For more information on how to do this, visit our 'power query' tutorial.
4) For this tutorial, we are choosing the Ideagen Healthcare Guardian Sample objective. Specifically, sample measure 2.
5) For the scorecard, the series tab controls the information that will be on display.
6) You can display the property of the entity just as you can in a trend table.
Let's use the object name as an example.
7) When displaying measure data, such as the 'actual', the scorecard allow you to show a sparkling visualisation. Just select this from the display option.
8) Choose which visualisation you want to see, such as a period or a year to date. Also, select the date range.
9) If you're displaying any date field, scorecards allow you to clearly display which are overdue. We're using the object start date in our example.
10) Under the series-specific option, there are some different options. You can select to show the date and format if overdue.
11) Click apply once you've selected everything you want to see displayed.
This feature makes it really easy to see at a glance which things need your attention.
