Setting the Colours and Theme of a Chart
Enterprise Users will be able to view and interact with pages. Performance Managers/Modellers can edit pages and objects, and Model Administrators have full permissions.
You will still need to check your personal permissions to access this area with your site Administrator.
There are 3 main ways a chart can be coloured within Ideagen Healthcare Guardian:
- Automatically by theme
- Manually Configured
- By Performance Scheme
Automatically by theme
The system comes with a selection of pre-defined themes for you to use straight away. We’ve tried to use bright, clear colours that fit with any kind of brand.
To choose a new theme use the chart designer you can modify the theme used on your chart.
The theme will automatically be applied across your chart depending on how your table is configured. A single series using a count measure may be given a single colour or a selection of categories may be given different colours in the theme.
Go to the properties tab and the theme configuration is the first area that is opened.
You can use the “Palette” dropdown to select one of our pre-defined themes.
We recommend using these themes as everyone in the system will also be using them and you can ensure that there is a clear theme and brand throughout the system.
Creating a Custom Theme
You can also create a custom theme in the chart designer based on any colours you choose.
You start from one of the existing themes and you can add and remove colours in the palette as you choose.
You can click on a paint bucket in the palette to change the colour.
