Enterprise Users will be able to view and interact with pages. Performance Managers/Modellers can edit pages and objects, and Model Administrators have full permissions.

You will still need to check your personal permissions to access this area with your site Administrator.

You may at some point need to modify an existing connection to:

• Update the selected connection columns.
• Pre-filter a connected data source.
• Add calculated fields.
• Set up a Scheduled import.
• Force a scheduled import.

To access the data sources page, you will need to have administrator access.

If you click on the Data Sources sidebar menu item and then click on either Live Connect or Scheduled Import, you will have access to the respective connection’s configuration pages.

If you click on all connections, you will see all the current, live data connections.

Live Connect

A direct connection to a dataset. A “what you see is what you get” type of connection.

However, you configure your dataset at this end, which is how it will display to report builders in designer mode.

Scheduled Import

This is used by advanced users to import data against measures within the Ideagen Healthcare Guardian system. Measures are the KPI/Metric objects in the Ideagen Healthcare Guardian system that enable targets and performance management functionality.

The most common use is the Live Connect type of connection.

Click on “All Connections” to see your currently configured data connections.

Click on the configure button to access the connection configuration editor to perform the tasks mentioned earlier.
